New member, old '98

Hey everyone,

This is my first post, but I have been a long time reader. I love 4runners and I have a 1998 Toyota SR5. It is my baby, but it still needs some work. It is a slow work in progress (its hard to get money when you are a broke college student). Thanks for any feedback, you guys will be hearing from me more often.

BTW. Nice look for '98. 7 years old and still in good shape...

Thanks for the feedback and words of encouragement. I will keep you guys up on my mods as I progress. I have a bunch of things that I want to do to it, with the main focus being some 22 inch rims. It will be a while before that happens, but the piggy bank has been started. Thanks guys.

i know i shouldnt put you down, but can you PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD not put 22 inch rims on a 4runner?

trade it in and get a bling suv...

IMO If you dont plan on off roading 22s are fine to have.

I respect your opinion, but everyone does not have the same taste for how they do things. I know I am never going off-roading, and I like the look of the big rims. When I get my rims put on, I will post some pictures and everyone who wants to see them can check them out.

no, i know, and thats fine.. i just dont think 4runners are good 22 inch rim vehicles.

I understand, I know not everyone will like them. I like both the off-roading style and the big rims style, I just prefer the latter for my vehicle. But as long as it is a 4runner, I love it. BTW, I checked out your 4runner site, you have a nice ride, I always liked the all black runners.
