new member question

ok i did a "posting pics" search and nothing popped up but how do you post pics on here trying to post pics of my 88 4runner that i got for 300 bux and start a build thread with it. If someone could link me to where it talks about that i would be greathly appreciated!

Look below where you reply to posts. You'll see a button called "manage attachments". Hit that and browse to your pics to upload them.

If you don't see the extra stuff, you may need to hit the "go advanced" button on the right bottom of the screen.

everytime i do that it says upload fail, i think my pics may be way too big or something?

I am new to posting pics but this is what works for me... I have to use pics that are already online on another site. I use smugmug.com for ALL my pictures so when I want to post here, I hit the 'insert image' button then when the box pops us, I copy and past the link to the specific photo my website.

There might be a simpler way but I don't know it!

You would be correct- if it still doesnt allow you to post em, they are either the wrong format or just to big.
