New Member / rookie HID question

I'm a newly registered member but not new to the forum. i've been reading and searching posts since i bought the truck a little over a year ago. So thanks to all the 4th gen members.

The rig is a black 08 SR5 V6 4x4. it spends most of its time in philly now but spends a lot of time in north jersey around morristown.

My next planned mod (current mods in the sig) is Xenon Depot Xtreme HID 4300k H11s for the low beams. from what it sounds like the kit is plug-n-play. im confused on "reversing the polarity"... if i install the full kit will i need to reverse the polarity of my leads

IIRC its the ballast that does that in combination with regulating current.

Plug it all in n if it doesn't turn on flip the connector from the vehicle to the ballast.
