Hey there guys. I've been lurking in the shadows for about a month now. I found some very useful information on here. I bought my first 4runner on Friday. I bought a 1996 4X4 Limited, automatic with the rear diff lock option. It has 227xxx on it, and running strong. CEL came on today, P0446. I've learned this can be a tricky one to navigate. Wish me luck.

Welcome and good luck! Hopefully it won't be too rough a fix. I have found that these engines can take quite a bit of use and still be solid at 300K + miles.
