I bought the truck earlier this year and it has been amazing bought her with 76k miles from the original owner and she was in mint condition!!!

Thank you, I have a lot of toys, but I work 50-60 hours a week and seldom get to use them, the evo leaves the garage maybe once a month if she's lucky had her for 2years and only put 4500 miles on her lol, the boat gets used every day of summer but I'm not off work until 6 so I only get an hour or two

highly recommend custom bumpers but I do not recommend going with the relentless fab for the rear, I was working with the guys out of reno on doing the prototypes for this truck as it was the only one they have had in the shop, but they made the custom front bumper with the warn m8000 and that front bumper is a thing of beauty please check them out, I have hit three dear went across the rubicon from loon lake to buck island twice, and driven on top of the hood of a rolled 93 jeep, and still flawless, I love how the steel bumpers fit and with their skid plate your approach angles are amazing I can crawl up anything in this IFS truck can't wait to do 60s on a SAS front

my only complaint about the back bumper is this was supposed to be a fully capable trail rig comparable to a modified jeep unlimited, and the rear bumper was built for maximum clearance in mind, I can fully stuff 33's Im talking STUFFED I will post pics of my truck flexed, the bumper does a great job except when I attempted some of the advanced obstacles on the rubicon in the Soup Bowl and Granite Slabs I had some clearance issues with the rear hitting as I was descending and the lips of the bumper smashing into my rear quarter panel right below the tail light it was quite tragic, the first pass was great at the rubicon no problems but the second time I grew some balls and thats when I realized that mounting parts on the bumper need to be better to support very hard rock crawling, I've beat this thing hard and it has not broke one time, and Ive been on the rubicon with 50k JK unlimited with 37"s coils and hemi swaps and their rigs break this toyota is unbelievable, but be careful of buying a rear bumper get the one that has the best clearance and best mounting I will post pics of the 2k in paint and body damage my faulty relentless fab rear bumper caused me.

got a lot of clearance and these are MT 33's stuffed pretty good

thank you I can't wait to get my fenders and hood painted the flat back hood doesn't look so great when its dirty, I have the stock but don't want to install it and line up the front end....I love the evolution ten with the wing, but it draws to much attention, I like the sleeper look on the ten I want to do the do-luck trunk and that will be my next mod

Not to get off topic here but I had the VIII , so I can only imagine the power of the 4B :lookout:

the 4b11T motor is unreal the reliability and throttle response and torque curve are amazing, I've been a die hard STi guy since my 02 bug eye with a 2.7stroker and 3076r and my 05 STi, I have always disliked the eve, but I ran with a built ams evo-x in my carrera 996TT with exhaust and tune and he shitted on me then again, again, and again he had the ams750 kit we went from a roll 20mph 60mph and the dig, couldn't beat his inline 4 single turbo with an inline 6 twin turbo :rockthrow::sobbing: I instantly sold my 996tt in hopes of building a evo-10 track monster, I haven't gone with the full ams 750 kit yet but I have every bolt on minus turbo upgrade and cams running e85 on 1200cc injectors at 26psi I made 426 awhp and she is reliable as hell beat on her all day, the transmission even though it is a 5 speed is built proof, launches all day long and still on the factory clutch at 39k grabs as hard as the day i bought it....they did an amazing job on the X minus a few small recalls still have to go get my clutch cylinder slave done hopefully mine is worth of a free clutch as well as it is an 08 and they are doing the clutch as well....but sorry to rant just love the 10 that thing is a beast in the snow

Hey guys, this did used to be seth's rig I bought it from him last june/july I was in the market for a truck to tow my Centurion Boat and I wanted a toyota or duramax or cummins I almost bought a brand new 5th gen off the roseville toyota lot, but I figured see what I can find on craigslist and I really wanted the V8 towing power. I saw Seth's ad on craigslist no phone number i sent him and email he had a lot of interest and even more low ballers and tire kickers you guys know how it can be I had lost hope of getting to look at the rig. He called me about 6 days later and I told me I could come to his office and see it tomorrow. I saw the truck and couldn't believe how ****in clean it was...not a dent anywhere...it was fully built and didn't even look like it had seen a trail there wasn't even a scratch :amen: I had to have it, I brought cash that day and after inspection I was ready to cash out....he was not ready to sell it....made me wait about a week but I was 100% in he found his new rig a 5.6 titan and I paid off the remaining balance of his loan and he let me have the truck....I couldn't believe he sold me a 03 v8 runner built with 76k miles and all the maintenance records and receipts this clean in a decent color, I like white or black silver is 3rd choice...for 14,500 I was looking at 05's with 90k for 18-19 grand stock that need new tires....he was also kind enough to include stock parts, and give me tons of advice about future mods and doing the straight axle, he was such a nice guy even called me to come pick up the title the day he got it, very straight shooter! I cannot say enough nice things about him, so helpful I am grateful he sold me his truck. I do have to say he was shocked when I came over to his house after this rigs second trip across the rubicon and I told him his rig made it across the entire rubicon from loon lake to buck island without damage and with out breaking he was kinda like wow...he wasn't a hard wheeler...I was with a few jeep unlimiteds and one was hemi swapped on 37's and lockers and he broke going through soup kitchen....so that attest to his skills on building toyotas he told me had worked with a lot of guys helping them do lifts etc, very knowledge great guy, he even gave me his onboard co2 and everything he literally gave this truck away I prices out all the parts and accessories he had for this truck and it was equivalent to what he owed on it damn near I was shocked I feel like i stole it someone is selling this same truck in grass valley ca with less mods and more miles then I have for 21k right now and he's got lots of interest Im never selling this beast plan on doing a fj45 on unimog axels in the near future sorry for the essay I like to talk lol:amen::zoom::boxer::bravo:

I totally agree. My Evo did better in the snow than any of my Subies ever could. Yes, I would buy the same winter tires for all.. So I understand where you are coming from. :bigok: Yes, the 5speed was always stronger than the 6 in the line up. Better gearing as well..
Boy that 996TT was a beast I bet, but then again, hard to swallow when an in line 4 spanks it. Then again with enough moolah, you can make anything go fast.. But yeah, nice color you picked for the X..

the Black Dahlia a Black 2001 996tt was my dream car with 51k miles for 34k was steal maintenance was a ****in nightmare tires don't even want to talk about it those ps2 almost cost an arm and an leg , it pulled hard as hell and 2nd gear awd launches were amazing it would do awd burnouts for about 60ft in 2nd gear when launching, I also had the factory gt3 kit on it, with peanut butter interior with carbon fiber gt3 interior kit, I loved that car, but she got beat by few at the track and it was black on black porsche 19's I will post a video of a 2nd gear awd burnout 500hp of madness 1st gear was done in about 1.5 seconds lol, my subbies sucked in the snow I got stuck so bad on the hill of one of the local ski resorts after hours I had to be pulled out by my ski patrol buddies snow mobile

it was actually in my 02 bugeye that I did a swap on, so it didn't have the six speed or DCCD only had 5speed with the RA gear set, I wanted to do a six speed swap but had a hard time finding a wrecked STi it took me about 2-3 years before I found one then I had sold the 02 by then! I ended up having to get a front left fender painted, new door and a new front bumper the snow cracked mine in half and ripped it off. High speed snow rally accident lol, wish I had that on video lol

Very nice…glad to see the build on this. I saw this truck in a parking lot in Folsom about 2 months ago…that thing is TALL! My wife was freaking out, as it was dark out, and I was checking it all out…haha. Great to see it passed along to someone who's putting it through the paces.

Great to meet you too Joe. I felt like my truck was riding pretty high that morning, until I rolled up and saw your rig! That thing is stout. Hope you hang onto the 4th Gen...see you out on the trail.
