Got about 6 inches of lift should I Do 35s or stick with 33's

custom bumpers which can stuff 33s but I really need 2 more inches of tire to get some extra ground clearance at the rubicon, I know they may rub a bit but I did some test fitting and will be doing some tomorrow with a brand new 35 inch toyo open country, I am thinking of getting new 18s on 35 in toyo open countries an running those mainly on the street and once they wear a little crawl them and keeping my 17's and 33's


do any of you have 35s? axle abuse on ifs? 35s are the new 33s?

how bad will this be on my setup ride wise?

I see a lot of the brand new 07-up tundras stock on 35s with 18s how do the front axles compare to the 4runners and how does the drive train compare in terms of overall strength to the 4runner?

my 33's are worn to 31s right now and my truck drive like pooh need new tires asap help me out

got a lot of clearance and these are MT 33's stuffed pretty good










want to get these as my new street wheels hopefully they won't see the rock to much

seth was very awesome, knew so much about toyota's I couldn't believe how cheap he sold it for blew my mind...he had so much money invested in this thing and still owed a lot of money on it, he allowed me to pay off the remainder of his loan 14.5k and he ended up going with a 5.6 titan. I bought it when it had 76k miles in June or July, I looked at it twice and couldn't believe how clean it was no rash or any damage from rock crawling it was like he built it and never used it :wtf: and the mileage was so low and the body was so clean. I sold my 996 carrera twin turbo and bought this instead. I have since taken it across the rubicon twice and taken it wheeling every weekend has about 5-6k miles of hard trails without breaking in the 8k miles I've owned it. Plan on either doing a straight axle on it, or just keeping ifs on 35s and getting a 95-98 tacoma and doing 60's front and rear on 40's fully caged I want to do this

Seth was so knowledgable about parts and lifts, even helped me a ton after I bought the truck and gave me a bunch of stock parts etc. I couldn't believe how nice this truck was and how no expense was spared in his build, I feel like he almost gave it to me because he had a lot of interest in the truck no one had 15k cash though :hail::blink:

here is a little clip from the rubicon at toyota rock, the motor ran like a top and had excellent number on compression testing, I went on the rubicon with a hemi swapped JK unlimited on 37's and that broke before seth's ifs yota build! what do you think about doing 35s on the rig though?
