new member & what do you do with those empty console switches?

So, about a month ago i put in a deposit on an FJ cruiser... local dealer got one on the lot finally and i got in and test drove it. It wasn't practical!! GREAT vehicle, but for my car pool/ daily commute and my bombin' all around san diego it just wasn't what i really needed. So i test drove a 4runner... HOOKED ON IT. all the creature comforts i could ever want. So i picked up a brandy new 4x4 LE v8 with everything but the nav/dvd player. Being a previous chevy and nissan owner, i must say... i ain't lookin back ever again - -this thing is a solid beast.

Anyway, i'm a tinkerer. And i wondered what everyone is doing with those spare console switches next to the Center Diff Lock and the center console switches next to the Down hill assist switch and seat heaters? I like clever things and am open to ideas

I installed my cb plug into the one to the right of the center console.

I've seen switches for lockers in the place opposite the diff lock button. Likwise spotlight toggles.
