New member with some '03 questions....(& Pic)

Glad to find another forum with some good guys. Anyway, I just had a coupel of quesitons?

- When I bought my 4Runner in November, I got it with the port installed 18" wheels. I was wondering if anybody else had gotten the 18" wheels as well.

- I know there aren't many options as far as brush guards and other stuff for us yet, but has anybody here bought one of the brush guards that is out so far? Not the Toyota brush guard, but more like Manik?

- Does anybody know where i could find the Hilux Surf badges for the '03 model, in the US. I know somebody that could get them for me in Japan, but wanted to try and find them in the states first.

Any help would be appreciated.

I saw your picture in the Gallery and I thought it had 18" wheels and I guess I am correct. No, I don't know who has them, but I have seem them on the road.

As far as Hilux Surf Badges, I wrote Jason B. of this forum, who sells 4Runner accessories. Here is part of his letter:

"Just in are some Japan emblems to replace your 4Runner and SR5 emblem. In
Japan the 4Runner is called the "hilux surf" "SSRG". It's $65 for the "Hilux
Surf" one, and $65 for the "SSR_G" one.
These EMBLEMS are special order and will take about 5-6 weeks at
least to get to you. They can't be returned due to the fact they are special
order items and they are coming straight from JAPAN. They are authentic
japan emblems and do look sweet. IF there would ever be a problem though, I
can work with you, and I will always be here. "

Jason B. has a picture of his 4Runner in the Gallery section. By the way, I am not sure if he has badges to fit a 2003 since he was writing to me and I have a 2001 4Runner. Heck, why not write him and ask?

I see that you had a answer about badges from another 4Runner forum. I really think the Hilux Surf Badges is a neat thing to do. Good luck on getting them. Let us know how it turns out.
