I had a very nice 1998 4Runner but was in a wreck (not my fault) and it was totaled. Three years later I am back to owning another 4Runner. A 1999 with roughly 102,000 miles on it. Interior is almost perfect condition and the exterior is very nice as well. No major rust problems.

I think I am going to keep it pretty stock since this will be a daily driver. I will probably upgrade the rear shocks next summer and when the brakes need replacing I will upgrade to the Tundra rotors and calipers.

Much respect for the stock look. New coils/shocks are always nice. They definitely improved the ride quality a lot for me. And for the tundra brake swap, i love them! One thing i noticed is that the stopping power is a lot more over stock. Obviously. haha
