nice truck! and welcome! as you will find, MANY of us are on yotatech also...

I hated red when I was in the market, I LOVE Them now lol

toytech i have 2 questions for you...

1. Have you re-geared? if not, how does the truck feel with 33's? your tires are freakin sick!

2. How much of a change did the MAF upgrade give you? out of curiosity...

I have not regeared. Its stock gearing with an auto trans. It actually does really good. If my runner is loaded with stuff and people, it will bog a little going up grades but other than that, it works great. I had a previous 97 with 285/75/16's with a manual and loved that even better! Any engine bog I have now will be offset when I finally get a S/C.

I definately felt a bit more power out of it after doing the airbox/maf upgrade. I cant say H/P wise, but for sure a better response out of it. There is so much more airflow than with the old style MAF. I also trimmed the obstructing flat spot out of my tbody gasket. I am willing to bet it will even be a bigger difference with a S/C airflow wise.

im sure thats a 6 cylinder?

hmm I want at least 32's but i dont wanna lose too much response or speed...

oh yes. I think the 4 cyls are way overrated. 285/75/16's on yours wouldnt be bad for it. Like i'm doing, save your money for a S/C and not worry about power loss. lol
