I recently bought a 2010 Runner and am enjoying it. I came across your forum while searching 4Runners.

I'm enjoying the vehicle very much. Bought it because I needed something to carry a Electric Scooter ramp and the Scooter. Legs gone.

I had it on a Toyota Avalon but the extra weight back there caused a drag over the least dips. The Runner doesn't seem to notice the extra 255 pounds sticking out behind the bumper.

My user name well describes me, as I'm almost 77 years old. A disabled Veteran with more than 20 years Military Service. Live in a rural part of Howard County Texas with my old Grouch of 53 years.

I can't keep up with you young rascals but I can enjoy your threads.

Welcome, and again, thank you for your service.

I am glad that the 4Runner is serving your needs. It's definitely a reliable and solid vehicle that will serve you at least as long as you served our country :)

Thanks. At my age, if a vehicle doesn't last at least as long as I will, likely, it's not good!

I'm really surprised at the fuel economy so far. Hiway, about 25-26 at 70. Not bad. The nearest town is a one-horse so not many stops from here to there. So far on that one, getting 22mpg.

Very happy with it.
