I have one, I'm not in RR but in the SE. If you're planning on going out this Sunday I will bring it along and we can probably do it pretty fast if you know how to tune the antenna.

I will be there! I hope anyone and everyone will be there. The plan is to meet at the end of Southern in RR at 0900. From there we will make our way into the Puerco and head south until we reach I-40. Anyone interested in going PM me for my cell #

I think I can make it. Just want to make sure this is considered an "easy" trail that a stock height vehicle can navigate? I don't have a cb yet so I'll be messaging you pefiln for your contact info. Maybe I can get hooked up with one of your stickers too? Hope to see you all on Sunday!

From what I've read most of the trail that goes from Rio rancho to i40 is basically dry river bed wash and stock should be fine. The more tricky areas are only if we feel like playing on any of he obstacles.

I have heard that it can get a little interesting but yeah nothing you shouldn't be able to handle. Should only take us a couple hours as long as everything goes well.

Be careful on estimating the time [emoji23] remember Jemez? Should only take 4 hrs.... 8 or 9 hrs later... [emoji15]

Wish I could. I work weekends so won't be able to. It should be fine without tuning it. If it's not, I'll figure it out. Have fun out there guys.

Cv boots!

So I go out to take a look at something in my truck today and I see a small spot of grease on the ground. I found one of my CV joint boots finally split! So I just put an order in for some new boots from Toyota and hopefully I can get them installed on Saturday. If not I will probably not be able to make it out on Sunday, but if I do get them on then I will be able to.

If you dont get around to it, wrap that thing in some tight layers of gorilla tape and you'll be good to go til next weekend. So many people run busted boots that one more trip wont affect it, you'll be cleaning all the old grease out anyway.

I've done that with duct tape before on an old vw. It doesn't look pretty if the tape comes apart. The parts should be in today so I can tear all my axles down and built back up by tomorrow.

Well I'd love to but I have classes on Monday and I'm traveling to Hobbs tomorrow anyways. But for sure let me know the next time you guys hit the trail closer to here.
