New Navi unit to look at...Panasonic Strada

I was getting close to pulling the trigger on an Eclipse 6610, but I've decided to wait and see what the feedback is on this new unit coming out from Panasonic.

Can't find any detailed specifications yet but the features seem pretty good for that price point.

Anyone know anything else about this new unit?

Panasonic in my opinion is garbage...

and from the pictures on crutchfields website, the stada doesn't have a very good screen resolution.

I was sold on getting the Eclipse 6610 until I saw how much better the display looked on the AVN7000 (single din). Now I want to see the Panasonic in person. It looks promising.

you people amaze me...

1600 won't get you a z2 with a warranty. not off that site anyway.

I don't care what they advertise...they aren't authorized dealers of Pioneer so pioneer will not honor any sort of warranty.

Sure thats a great price, and chances are you won't have a problem with it. But whats a couple hundred more when you are dropping that kind of money on the top of the line nav system? And if something does go wrong... you just lost $1600.
