We recently returned from a trek down to New Orleans (from northern Ohio). I think a saw more 4Runners in the New Orleans area than I've seen anywhere else. It seemed like a saw one every time I turned around.
When I was in Las Vegas and San Diego, it seemed like almost all of the 4Runners were 2WD. I was surprised to see that many 4Runners in Las Vegas because the weather is always sunny. Now in NY and NJ, 100% of the 4Runners are 4WD.

Yeah, and wait until you try to buy a 4wd 4runner in Houston, TX...it's a pain in the ass! You can't get as much discounts because supply is low and it's hard to find the options that you want in a 4wd 4runner.
