1 Coat of Z5 -- too bad the sun isn't out. Who says Stellar Blue Pearl has to look purple?! :p

Curing (applied outside), and finished pics. sorry for the cell phone pics, will do better with some sunshine and a real camera

Whoa. I bet you won't even be able to look straight at it when the sun is out. Beauty.
Thanks! Should stay this way for about 6 months since it'll be staying outside in the elements. Can't wait to see the angle of the water beads when it rains :D
can you please do mine :D
From wax-on to wax-off it only took about 35 minutes! I was dreading it a bit, haven't done anything this big (or tall). You can see the nose of my lowered s-runner poking out in the first pic.
woah, that looks amazing. how many miles on that bad boy?
Thank you! I'll be honest once you get closer than 10ft it'll show its age. It just turned 130k.
Where are you from? I swear I saw you on I5 South, south of Eugene the other day...
Greater Tampa Bay area, Florida.

Nice detailing looks better than showroom floor condition. Absolutely love the color excellant choice.

Can't get enough pictures of your color, plz keep them com'in.

Looking good but aren't you supposed to wax in the shade for best results. Most auto waxes say on the back "not in direct sunlight" although I don't know if there is an actual reason behind the logic.

Next time you are in CO I would love to hire you do to some work on mine. Looking good! Never been a big fan of that color (too much purple) but you have changed my mind.

Hopefully the sun will be out tomorrow and I can grab some worthy pictures.

I've been a Zaino fan for years now, and depending on who you talk to or when you bought your products it's not a big deal to apply in the sun. The biggest problem is when the metal is hot to the touch, it's difficult to apply before it dries up.
Since it was mostly overcast and in the low 70's today I took advantage of the nice weather and applied outside -- was easy on and easy off just as if I did it in the garage.
Now if I was going for multi-stage, multi-product of 9 coats prepping for a car show I'd be doing it indoors for a few reasons but mostly because I'd hate to have a bird or something come along and ruin my efforts :crybaby:

Thanks! it can and does look purple in certain lighting. I hope to get photo's of the different personalities but it'll take some time. Haven't had it for 5 days yet. I haven't seen this color with a good detail/coat of wax on it in person and was real curious to see how it would turn out, but so far it was worth the effort. I may go crazy with a bunch of coats of Zaino just to see how it will look as far as color goes.

Now put a couple coats of Z2 on it and it will look like glass...

Zainos is the only polish that will stand up to the UV in New Mexico It actually will last for 2+ years but I prefer to polish mine once a year.

*large pics* Second mod, SS 3.0 "lift"

I bought the 4runner knowing that the rear shocks were shot. Of course I used that as an excuse to replace all 4 corners (shocks/springs/struts) with something new. Went with the Sonoran Steel 3.0 "kit"; '99 hardware with tokico trekmasters. Took it camping the day after it was installed, so she's got a good layer of dirt/grime/ash but you get the idea.
