Hey guys

I finally got a 4runner after years of wanting one

Its a V6 sr5 5speed with 155km

My first order of business was removing the running boards and fender bling

Is it normal to see the underside of the car from the side profile now that the running boards are off?

I'm assuming once I get a suspension lift that it won't be visible anymore?

2. It will still be visible

...but most everyone on here is not embarrassed by showing a little frame. Get some sliders for your runner if you want to cover it up in style.

And please... don't call the 4Runner a car. It's what most of us try to avoid driving. :wink2:

Sliders are a good idea, i'll add them to the list of things to do..... its a long list though

Biggest problem with the list is when you open your little book to cross of one thing as being done you add 2 more things that need to be done have fun and it will be fun to watch another family member grow:hungry:

I've only had it for a week, but I can already start to see what you're saying.

Never been huge into "trucks" or fixing up vehicles in general, but this 4runner has got me out there working on it and doing things i've never done before. Can't wait to learn and see how everything turns out.

:welcome: to the club. I am envious you found this site so soon...I have owned my 4runner going on 12 years. I just found this site a couple of months back and I will warn you that you will become obsessed to this forum and YotaTech.com. I check these sites more than I do my e-mail. I just started driving my 98 as my DD about a year ago and I wish I could go back in time...my ride would be more than it is today had I known all of the expertise that was available to me on here.
