New Owner Here - Questions

Hey guys!

Just traded in my Lexus RX300 for a 2003 SR5 V6 Model with 80K miles . Love this truck, it's a beast on the beach!

Few questions that may be nothing (or a concern):

When driving on a highway, I noticed that if I put the wheel straight and let go, the truck slightly veers to the right,. Does this just need an alignment? Would anything else cause this that would be a concern?

Tuneup:
Not sure what has been done and when. The Toyota dealer changed the oil and did some other repairs my mechanic found when I took it to him for a look before purchase (cracked front CV boot and rear shocks leaked, Toyota replaced them before my purchase).

So if I don't have evidence of past tuneup/maitenance, should I assume it wasn't done? The tranny fluid is still red, but somewhat dirty.

Tires:
When i got to the beach yesterday to air down, I noticed the pressure was 25PSI (which is low since beach buggy's generally drop to 20PSI from mid 30's. What is the correct PSI? 36ish?

Thanks guys for any advice!

1. It is probably just an alignment. Did you check the carfax to make sure the vehicle was never in an accident?

2. If the previous owner serviced the truck exclusively at the dealer, then yes. If you don't have documentation, I would play it safe and assume that the work wasn't done.

3. I usually run my tires at 32 psi. Have been getting good life out of my shoes and haven't had an issues!

Most importantly, congrats on your purchase and enjoy the new ride :D

1. Yes, in the rear, I don't think it was bad, no issues with trunk closing, paint mismatch or anything and it looks mint condition, but car fax shows it hit a motor vehicle rear area primarily damaged back in 2007. My mechanic said frame wasn't affected and it looked ok.

What kinda stuff should I have done? Even though the dealer changed the oil a few days ago, I want to dump it and put in some high end mobile 1 or pennzoil ultra to help clean out any junk.

I was thinking tranny fluid/filter change, spark plug change..Not sure what else there is? I drove on the beach alot the past 2 days and will be on the beach 1-2 times a week up until December, anything else I should be getting checked?

Thanks!
