Just my 1st 98 SR5. What some of the things I should look at replacing as its all stock so far. As I get money I'll be doing some customizing. I see that 3 inch body lift is fairly common for these. What's some suggestions from you all? Of course either a new bper or guard is one of my first things I wanna get. :bigok:

Welcome to the madness!

Body lifts are rarely used.... Suspension lift is whats commonly used.
(I have some for sale! 3 front, 3 rear, $140 - PM me if you want it)

BUT Before doing anything!
Be sure to change out your Lower Ball Joints (LBJ)
Go to Toyota Care and register your 4Runner and see if it was done. but do it anyways. Or go for the Tacoma PreRunner LBJ's

Go for the 231mm 06 Tundra Brake Upgrade!
Made a HUGE difference in braking power with the 285 tires that i have.

Intake mods, bumpers, fogs, yadda yadda

Have FUN!

I'd go through the FAQ thread and the "what did you do to your 3rd Gen today" thread as well. Both shed some light on some of the common things we do to our runners for performance, reliability, and general maintenance. I'm out in the NW suburbs of Chicago, welcome!
