Hey there,
I've already posted a few (dumb) questions, but thought I would introduce myself as I think I'll be back here quite a bit!
I just got my '95 4runner on Monday, result of a car wreck that totaled my previously very reliable car (Ford Escort, I know a lot of people hate them, but it was a great car for me). I decided it's time I smash other drivers' cars rather than vice versa, hence the T4R.
Since buying my T4R I've already had to have loads of work done on it and realize that perhaps it wasn't in as great of condition as I was led to believe. I'm not even sure the engine is original to the vehicle! However, I still like it. Today I'm off to try to get the exterior to look a bit nicer.
In the past I've driven Hiluxes and Surfs overseas, and have always liked them. I realize now that they are pretty much the same chassis, so that's kinda neat.
Anyway, I could blether on, but I have a T4R to make presentable looking. I look forward to learning loads more and having some pride of ownership.
Cheers/Mel
