Hi everyone, my name is Scot and my wife and I are happy owners of a 2002 Sport Edition. So far we love the vehicle. We've only had it a month so the new car feeling is still there. Anyway, I have a question. We got our first snow of the year today and finally had the Traction Control kick in while driving. Is a "ratcheting sound" from the front typical behavior when the Traction Control System is working? I've got a Mercury Mystique that also has a Traction Control Sysytem, albeit not a Toyota system, and it does not make any funky noises when it's functioning. I'm guessing that the noise is normal but I'd feel better if it's confirmed by one of you folks.
