Well I pulled the trigger today and bought a 4runner.
After the first 140 miles of my 350 mile trip, it averaged 21.5mpg!!!
I picked the car up with 36 city miles (he filled it up and reset to odo) then drove it to 140 miles at about 72mph with the ac on over some pretty large hills and when i stoped to fill it only took 6.5 gallons! I was amazed.
I havent filled it back up since I got back but I will tomorrow and figure out what it got the rest of the trip but the odo shows 210 miles (reset after last fillup) and im between 3/8ths and 1/2 tank.
Btw, this is a 96 4wd on michillin all season tires with 199,xxx and the rest of the car is stock.
Newayz, heres the full set of pictures he sent me and I picked her up for $4100. It seriously drives like a new car. It shifts like butter, pulls hard with no squeeks or rattles. When I checked the oil, it looked like it was just poured out of the bottle (and the oil was changed about 1600 miles ago)
I think I got a great truck for a very good price and am looking forward to many years of fun with it.

I will take more pics myself in the next day or 2. And yes the engine is dirty in the pics (he says hes never washed the engine) but there are no leaks of any kind and that is one of the first things im going to do.
