New passage through firewall needed on driver side

I've installed an aux fuse box over the weekend and with the various leads that are coming off it into the cab to connect to switches, I need another hole in the firewall.

Looking up under the driver foot-well it appears that there is a plastic separation between the lower dash and the upper dash. is this correct and does the main wiring loom come in higher up under the dash?

Has anyone drilled a second wire-loom hole on the driver side? If so, where did you drill it?

Just ran all of my wiring from a 7 circuit system from painless. Just use the existing hole. I wouldn't drill a new one.
