New Pictures

Up until now I have been taking pictures with my iPhone, and decided I wanted some higher resolution pictures so today I took the time to use my digital camera. Really makes a difference in the appearance compared to the iPhone's camera.

This last one is a bad angle, and doesn't show the lift very much.

Did you paint the grill or order one color key'd? If you ordered it where'd you go through, and what part number did you use? I want to put a white 06+ style grill on my 05, but only if I can get it color matched.

Thanks. Unfortunately I didn't order it, I got it from a member who had accidentally received 2 for his black sport edition, and he lived just a few blocks from me. Picked it up for $120 if I remember correctly.

The dealership wanted something stupid like $300 for it, and wanted my VIN before they would give it to me. Since mine came with a smoked chrome grille, I'm not sure if they would have let me get the black one.

if i were you, my next mod would be bigger rims...its just me maybe but they look a little tiny.

Haha I know how you feel. I'm always in the mood to clean it. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it. The running boards only take 10 minutes, so you should try it.

I use Zaino's products. Pricey, but they are about the best out there for dark colored vehicles. My last detail was about a week ago, and I go about 1-2 months in between details. I usually do it if there are any water spots, small scratches, etc. As far as cleaning, I wash it every 4-7 days depending on my work schedule. It really bugs me going a full week though because of the dust here, so my OCD will usually kick in by the 4th day. :bigok:

They actually look very proportional in person, but in the pictures they almost do look a tad on the small side. Either way, that's something to think about later since I spent $650 on my Nitto's and only have like 3K miles on them.

I don't think the 2006+ grille will be a direct swap for your 2005. It will probably fit with some modifications though. The headlights and trim bezel below the headlights are different.
