Adding a steel option (3/16) makes a world of difference.

The design of the front is very close to the RCI's but more gussets and a bit wider front so that's a plus. Hard to see what's happening further back. The RCI transfer skid with the crossmember has been outstanding for me. But I was never sold on their gas tank so went Shrock and on their rLCA so I went Total Chaos there (to avoid drilling). The Shrock gas skid was really painful to install but has been great since.

Any plans for a rear differential skid? It is not as important as the others, but it can sure preserve the appearance of the differential and the drain plug.

Thank you for the feedback! We did try to maximized coverage with ours and they are a bit wider than other offerings without getting in the way of anything . We also designed them to be very easy for the home mechanic to install.

We are planning to release a rear diff skid, shock guards, and a few other items.

I have no experience in working with metal. I googled “aircraft grade aluminum” and have gotten different numbers. Can you advise the actual grade of the aluminum you use.

I received the full set aluminum skid plates and installed so far only the front and mid skids.
Few points:
- need bigger (external diameter) and thicker washers. As the bolt slots are designed for good reasons with tolerance, the washers sometime are too small
- for the front skid I propose to make the skid about 1/2' longer in the front to accommodate the OEM filler plate
- please post installation instructions on your web site so we can print copies
- need better instructions on installing the rear skid as it is not clear how to install those nuts with long handles... really need some help here
