i am happy to say am i a proud owner of a 2006 sr5 4runner. ive owned it about 2 weeks and love it more than any other car i have owned which says a lot because its a pretty decent list. this is my first suv and first toyota. gotta say im sorry i waited this long. i traded in my o4 acura TL for it which was nice but im going to be a daddy soon and ive seen what happens to other friends cars once that happens. i didnt want to see milk and cheerios all over the leather. believe it or not the 4runner rides much smoother.:D i will post some pics asap but its all stock so i dont know if you guys would like 2 see it. i know in other forums if its stock they dont care to see it. ive been watching this forum for a while and really like it here. i plan on making this my new home :-).

Congrats!

I have a 8 yr old and a 6 yr old.....get a good seat cover for the rear seats, especially the bottom portion!

Welcome to 4R heaven

I felt the same about the new TL. 4R has smoother acceleration.
Back when I was looking to purchase my next car, 05 TL was on my shopping list. Test drove several new gen TL and new gen 4R, the 4R has a smooth torquey feeling to it. That's what got me hooked.

Congrats on the new 4Runner. I also made the upgrade from the TL to the 4Runner. Although the 4Runner isn't my first Toyota, I know for sure the TL was my last Honda product :twak:

what year tl did u have? ive had an s2000 an accord and vw gti. they were all ok. nothing like the 4runner!

I had a '99 Accord, '99 TL and also had a '00 Acura EL (basically a fancy Civic Si sedan). My dad has an MDX. IMO, they are all junk. So many problems with them (with the exception of the Accord). For a brand so desperate to compete with the likes of Lexus and Infiniti, Acura is falling miserably short.

VW... don't even get me started on them :p Also have a 01 Passat 4Motion :cursin:
