Hey guys I bought a new rig it has a 6" lc lift in the back and not sure about the front, it seems to have this weird body lift I guess you can call it? It lowers the front end down alot I find..?
new rig, Has anyone seen this? :S

Ugggg drop bracket, youwill find that it will plow everything. Rocks, babies, snow, mud, etc.
It wouldn't plow things anymore than the factory setup. All it does is raise the frame by lowering the lower a-arms and dropping the diff a bit. But as far as the geometry of the front suspension, it more or less stays the same. IMO: It's the best way to lift an ifs vehicle. If I were smarter, I would have reinforced my front end before I decided to wheel the piss out of it though.

Yea that's an older model drop bracket lift. Looks like it was welded a little or somethin to make it a little stronger. Here's what my rough country setup looks like.

THANKS! for all the quick reply's! Love this site! I'm trying to find a similiar product online but cant seem to find any? I think it does lower it down a bit! cause I have 35's and theres not a whole lot of room compared to my buddy's trucks, I was going to downsize to 33's but now i'm thinking It's not the best idea? Will I drag on everything?

It wont drag any more than a stock truck on 33s or 35s will. Think of drop bracket lifts as stilts for the front of your truck.
Tires really wont effect how much lift you have. (a 35" tire will only lift your truck 1" higher than a 33") They just make it easier to roll over/up things.

Hey I was in working on the front end and noticed my front shocks looks like they might be a little compressed? they barely move when going over rough stuff and it feels like your getting a massage when riding on dirt roads, should I get smaller ones? so the spring can be used as its supposed to be?and maybe some that are a little more springy?

That's just the boot you're looking at, it doesn't matter how compressed it is. What matters is the shock itself - ignore the boot and see if you can pull the shock to full extension and push it to full compression. It should be doable, but not easy. If it doesn't take much exertion to compress and extend the shock, it should be replaced.

I can push it down all the way, but it doesnt come back up by itself, and its hard as hell to pull it back up:shrug:

If it doesn't come back up then it's probably shot. Dang that front end doesn't look like it's been cleaned in decades! haha

I used a Skyjacker skid plate forever ago when I had a similar diff drop on my 95 pickup. It kept the amount of crap from pushing into and around the front diff. This was more of an issue with mud and clay.
