New Rig!

I put a down payment on an 07 SE today! It has 12300 miles. V6 engine. Shadow Mica with charcole interior. Picking it up this week sometime. Sold the old Runner. What a difference in ride! I can't wait to get it. Will post pics after pickup.

Did you sell yopur '98 outright or trade? Are you happy with what you got out of it?

I sold the 98 outright, dealer only wanted to give me $2500. I ended up getting 5k. It was a great truck! I also ended up buying from private party.

5k is ok These days with the SUV market in the crapper and with 130k on the clock you did alright.:bigok:

Yes I was happy with what I got. The rear bumper had a large hole in it from rust. Also the leather was cracked on the driver seat. The SUV market is taking a dive for sure. The seller of the 07 was originally asking 24,500 and dropped to 22,000 asking price. I was able to negotiate down to 18,800.

I need to chill right now on my spending but I def. need some weathertech liners. She will be going in the sand so those are a must. Maybe a different grill. Not sure if I want to level her off. I'm kinda liking her stance. I am going to do the fog mod for sure.

First off, congratulations on the sweet new ride. However, reading your post makes me sick to my stomach. I paid $23,500 for a 2006 SR5 4x4 with 20,000 on the clock exactly one year ago.

I got lucky on this deal. The previous owner had moved to the city and could not afford to keep the truck there. I never thought she would be willing to go that low.

but nice truck, the color is awesome!... im also curious as to waht part of jersey. im here in good old blueberry capital of the world, hammonton in southern jersey

Thanks guys. It is a completely different truck from th 98. The 98 was a great truck and I do miss it, but the new rig is soooooo nice. In my opinion, there is no comparing the two.

I am from Wyckoff, which is in Bergen County (North Jersey).
