New Rims?

I purchased a new TRD ORP, and it had the XP package, which included the Toyota black TRD rims. I saw in the dealership that they also make the same TRD rims in a silver/grey color. Well, my 4Runner is silver, and I'm wondering what it would look like with the silver/grey TRD rims. Anyone have this setup that can post a pic? Thanks!

"The rim itself is the outer edge of the wheel, where the metal meets the rubber of the tire—and it's the diameter of the rim that's measured to determine wheel size."

Due to supply issues 2023 TRD Pro comes with pre 2022 Pro wheels, Toyota says.

Not what you asked, but there are shiny with black accents ORP takeoff wheels on ebay for $530 a set. Less than 10 miles on them.

Probably where mine went when the port installed the mandatory black pro wheels @ $1700.

I care. I think its hilarious that the forum implodes on every thread someone gets it wrong and needs correcting.

Outside of the literal meaning, I would argue they are "wheels" if you offroad or go wheeling. They are "rims" if you ride rims like Dem Franchise boys. 4Runners can belong to either group or even both if you try hard enough. Obviously the same thing just different terms depending on which car community.

The funny thing is it’s not wrong either way. There’s no rules to this stuff. A rim is a wheel and a wheel is a rim and a rim and tire is also a wheel. Shits fluid bruh we know what he means. It’s like correcting someone for using the wrong “there” in a sentence. Everyone knows what they mean. No need to point and say they are wrong.
