I think that'd look good on your 4Runner!tairby said:I'm looking to replace my rims. It was suggested getting black rims with a chrome lip, what do yall think?
p nut said:Just my opinion here, but please do not get 20's or up. I don't think they look good on 4Runners.
You've got the same 4Runner that I do and black will look okay if your rig is a bit lifted and has bigger tires. Otherwise, I would just stick to silver.
Sweet looking 4Runner!! :bigok:sick_46 said:Here is my 4R, looks like yours
I have 20's with 275/55/20

You're crazy 20"s look great on a 4Runner, and 22"s look even better!p nut said:Just my opinion here, but please do not get 20's or up. I don't think they look good on 4Runners.

There's nothing wrong at all with a clean fancy ride, I like to get noticed when I drive down the road, and I achieve my goal every day. I take pride in my vehicle, when I got my 4Runner, it was in perfect condition. There was no way I could offroad it, it was just way to nice. If I had maybe a 96 with high mileage, rust, etc. Then yeah, I'd offroad it.4runDiZZLe said:i agree w/ p nut... putting 20's will make it too fancy... these things were made to get dirty... it'll also be prone to bends (like when you hit potholes and other obstacles in the road)

p nut said:I'm crazy? I'm just stating my opinion. In fact, it's the same opinion held my 99% of the members on any 4Runner boards. Am I saying you're somehow in the wrong? No. But if anyone should be labeled crazy, it would be you.
I like 22's on SUV's. Really do. But here is the short list of them:
1) Denali/Escalade's

p nut said:Yeah, I love that show. I actually liked their last Denali better than this Tahoe. (The UAV). Still sick, though.
DO WORK, SON!!!!
