IMO the chrome tip rims do not look good on any vehicle. I think that black rims would look good on your vehicle. What size rims were you thinking about getting?

There's nothing wrong at all with a clean fancy ride, I like to get noticed when I drive down the road, and I achieve my goal every day. I take pride in my vehicle, when I got my 4Runner, it was in perfect condition. There was no way I could offroad it, it was just way to nice. I've hit plenty of potholes over the years and have never bent my rims, I've hit speedbumps going way to fast that I didn't notice and haven't bent my rims, You would have to be going extremely fast for a pothole to cause damage to your rims... :bash:

I like 22's on SUV's. Really do. But here is the short list of them:
1) Denali/Escalade's
2) Range Rovers
3) H2's
(Not a very good pic)
And that's about it. None of the Toyota's/Lexus I've seen looked good with big rims (Sequioa, LX***, LC, etc.). I don't think the body lines flow well for big rims.

That's Rob Dyrdek's Murdered out Tahoe. That thing is bad ass.
And I agree that IMO 20's/22's on 3rd Gens are too big. They look better on the 4th gens.

I don't mind big rims on SUVs that are soley for the purpose of pavement pounding but when you see an H2 with fancy rims it's like you removed a penis from the guy.
I'm not a fan of big wheels on my vehicles since they are a looks only mod and in most cases hamper every performance aspect in the book including acceleration,braking (can be upgraded but most don't),MPGs and overall handling on vehicles that started out with wheels that are more than 4" difference.
I don't mind the vehicle if it was desinged for big rims but 3rd gens were designed with 16" wheels only in mind thus anything bigger than 20" is a bit on the side of a bit much but to each his own and that's ok.
I think 4th gens deal with 20"s fine but anything bigger on them too and they start to look like rolling circus.
I do also think it's silly to see a pavement pounder that's lifted to heaven and is rocking 35" mud tires and there's a few of them around here too.

Me too! I watch it every week. I apparently haven't been watching it long enough though because I never saw their old Denali. I can't find pics of it either.
