New Rims

Picked 4 of these 17" Toyota Sequoia/Tundra Rims at a garage sale this weekend for a whopping $50 (center caps and lug nuts included)! I'm currently running 265/75/R16 Bridgestones and like the somewhat aggressive look. With the new 17" wheels and without adding a lift, what tires would be good for this application? I believe stock tires was a 265/65/17, but I'd prefer something bigger and more aggressive looking (without rubbing of course). Thanks for any advice that you can provide.

well if you would like to somewhat stick with the same size your running, look at 265/70/17's. very similar, but check out the new goodyear wrangler duratracs. i love mine so far.

the only issue i belive is that you will get some rubbing because the offset of your new wheels is less, so you may need to run wheel spacers.

not 100% on that though

i love my grabber AT2's they shouldnt rub, mine only did cause my bumper was bent.

Biggest size you can run with those rims is 265/70/17. That is of course without a lift.

$50 !!! WOW. the cheapest i found out here in New Mexico were $150 (just wheels/caps). great buy and eyes while walking around that garage sale.

I'm running 265/75/16's the Kumho Road Venture MT's, here's what they look like on mine....

and here....

can't find picture of just the side shot, so this will have to do for now. Anyways, so far I'm impressed by the ride of the MT's, hardly any sound.

Rims are in new condition. Located in the N.E. area. Tires (new) possible too.
