New Rotors on a 4th gen w/24k miles on it

I'm having this werid braking pulsation on my rig, so I go ahead and take it to the stealer they recommend to have the rotors resurface so I do that.

Now the braking pulsation continues even worse so again I take it to the dealer and now they recommend I have the rotors replaced, I say fine as long as its convered under warranty, they say it is not convered under warranty WTF because it has to do with the braking system.

What do you guys think, is this something I can fight and push the warranty issue?

say it's their fault. they resurfaced it. say they did it incorrectly. have a second party check your brakes. local shops sometimes know a lot more than dealers do. have them write something up if they find that the rotors were incorrectly resurfaced. show that to the dealer....that'll shut them up. good luck!

Never mind the stealer folded and I'm getting a new set of pads and rotors on them. Goes to show you, never give in on what the stealer says.

Well if I look at the pad wear, I had 60% of my front pads left at 30k miles and a lot more in the rear. SO I would say 100k would be a very realistic expectation. Pending on your driving habbit offcourse. I'm not the slowest driver of the bunch though.

But somebody ahem(Biff) has been running a very fast SC runner so brakes would not last long

I'd guess at least 60K, assuming normal driving conditions (ie, you don't live on top of a big hill and drive down at 60mph and have to stop at a light at the bottom).
