No welding. Its a bolt on bumper. On 99 and up you have to grind away the front bumper mount.

I have extended travel icons with light racing upper control arms. The bump stops are donohoe racing. They developed the bump stop in coordination with light racing. Donohoe became icon suspension. Right now light racing makes the bumpestops for the front and rear of our trucks.but you can still find the donohoe racing bumps if your lucky.

That's a damn good looking bumper... I'm a little confused about the material gauge though. Is this not a winching bumper? Seems to me that unless it's 1/4" plate you're going to bend or worse, rip this right off.

I'm temped to copy this in thicker material.

All of the mounting surfaces for the bumper and the winch are 1/4 plate. The other non mounting surfaces are smaller for weight savings. I believe it is the lightest hybrid on the market now. Its right at 80 pounds. I know when I went to pick it up that I could do it myself and it wasn't as heavy as it looked. It was a deciding factor for me to go with the Savage bumper. These trucks are so sensitive to weight being added and I'm doing my best to keep it down.

There are four bolts on each side, 8 total to the frame. Two on the bottom and two on the side.

There are 5 bolts on each side, 10 total for the bracket to the bumper. I don't have any of the bracket to the bumper. I'll have to go out and get some later.

Nice bumper!! I am in the market for one as well. I was hoping that this bumper was going to pick up the holes in the end of the frame as well, but from what I have seen so far, none of the aftermarket bumpers seem to use those holes. This one looks like it would be easy to mod though...

Here are pictures of how the bumper mounts to the bracket. 5 bolts per side 10 total. Its adjustable from a 0 to 3 inch body lift.

I believe they are american racing Mojave wheels. The op can correct me if I am wrong. They are pretty sweet they are Teflon coated so they stay clean, but they are pricy. I wanted to get a set but they were too rich for my blood lol

You won't be disappointed. I would recommend powder coating with a textured finish. I know many would disagree, as they will get scratched eventually. When they do its just a white powder that comes off. I just take a quitip and fill the any gouges with flat black paint. After you can't even tell its there. Its hard as hell to scratch it though.

Funny story on the wheels. They are pro comps 1078. I found them on an old Craigslist ad. I called and the previous buyer had fallen through. They were pretty rough. I picked them up for 280 for 4 of them. Then I went and bought a brand new 5th rim for the swing out for 105.00. They don't match though. 4 of them are a gloss black and pro comp only makes the satin now. I plastic dipped them flat black. I definitely took my time on them. I started with a light coat and then went heavy. I used 10 cans on the 5 wheels. So its super thick and super durable. I also painted them over a couple days. I only put one heavy coat on a day until I was out of plastidip.

Wow, I didn't like this bumper at all when I first saw pics on Savage's website. These pics are much better. Now I'm considering getting one...cheaper than other options too, so I feel more inclined to get it soon. DECISIONS!!!

(May I request some pics from the front? Whenever you have time...I'd greatly appreciate it.)
