New savage Offroad rear bumper

Those are pilot holes that get drilled out Koelt and yes it will hold just fine. Six 3/8 steel bolts hold a swingout on just fine. I told Roy to hold off on my swingout until he gets caught up with orders. There are two holes on top and four on the face of the bumper to hold it on

I ended up just painting it for now. I will probably powder coat it later. Here is a few more pics parked in the garage. It is dirty from wheelin' in Berdoo Canyon

This thing is so perfect. I like that it has a decent "ledge" to use as a step. And that with the bolt set-up, the swing-out can be taken completely off without any extra bits left in the way.

This bumper is starting to grow on me more. It definitely looks better on a more average looking rig than the camoflauge spray painted truck on the savage website haha. Can't wait to see it with the swingout mounted!

I cant speak for the new hybrid bumper because i do not own one, but i did order the older style rear, right before the new style came into production. The wait is definitely worth it. The welds are gorgeous and the fitment is spot on, Savage Off-road definitely makes a quality product. I am sure the new hybrid is kick ass. Anxiously waiting for the swing out option for the older series bumpers!

Gotch you. Are the holes pre drilled already? On the Website it says the swingout can be mounted left or right.

I also cannot wait for the bolt on accessories. I think bolt on accessories are awesome idea , bec because you can remove it when ever you want it. It also opens a door for different set up

I didn't. Sorry, being born in Europe I don't understand sometimes the terminology. But I get it now. Why not have the correct size already drilled ?

because some folks don't want large holes on both sides or either side... like me, And the holes are there so people don't mess up a template... like a caveman.

Now, for the price, they don't even have a biult in hitch? What about the swing out tire carrier ?

There is a built in hitch. And the swingout /tire carrier is extra $ on top of the bumper. So total price is over $1000. But this cheaper then most rear swingout bumpers. Just go on savage website.

Yeah, he sent out an email a while back that basically just said "we're working on it." When everybody's parts are late, it's a good idea to offer more information.

I have messaged them through their website about my front and rear bumper. The lady said, their are backed up. And did answer me.
