That's why I held off on the initial round of orders. I'm gonna let some others try it out and if it's all good then I'll be ordering one of these for sure.

I was thinking Gumby, Pokey and Goo were going to make a cameo. Video shows the mechanics of the swing out.
The only part that I think about is where the swing arm bracket bolts to the bumper but I presume the paranoid could weld it on.

If it's not too much to ask, the next time you see him, ask if he's given anymore thought to making an adaptor for the old bumpers to work with the swing out. I figure he is swamped right now and answering emails is the last thing on he wants to do. I really hope he does. I figure once he gets caught up he would have a better idea.

I talked with Roy on Instagram immediately after he posted the stop motion video of the new swing out. I asked him about an adapter for the old bumpers and he said YES, an adapter is in the works. I didn't press him regarding a timeline as to when one would be ready but maybe by the end of summer? Or early fall? I have the older style bumper and I will definitely be buying an adapter and swing out as soon as they are ready.
Awesome! That's great news. I will be jumping on that as soon it's available. I almost want to buy the swing out before the adaptor so I wouldnt have to wait on the lead time when it does become available. Would suck if they decided not to make the adaptor.
