New shoes: BFG KO2 275/7R17

Installed some new tires today on my 2015 Trail Edition. Stock tires were about 5/32. Got a good deal from 4wheelparts ($70 instant rebate, no tax, $50 card, and tires were $204/each).

I'd been researching tires like crazy and had decided on some Cooper S/T Maxx 255/75R17 from TireCrawler.com ($186.86) that DiscountTireDirect.com was going to match or beat, but I just couldn't pass up this deal.

Got them installed at Discount Tire, and need to put in a little more air. They aired to 32 psi (door spec). I am planning to run about 44 and seeing how I like that. 44 psi seems to be the going average around these parts.

No rub at full lock except in reverse (because of nose dive), only rub is to the front liner. Planning to move the front liner this evening. Shouldn't take but a couple minutes.

Looks good. Running 285s on my current runner and ran the same tires on my Tacoma. Overall good tire and wear isnt bad as long as u rotate them regularly

Pictures don't come through well on my work computer but I am sure it looks good. Congrats on arguable the best modification for improving off road performance to be done.

Now get yourself a portable air compressor if you are going to be going off road. Airing down is step #2,

Yeah, I've had KO's on other vehicles and was looking for something different here... but I just couldn't pass up all that tire for the price. Plus, I hear that the KO2 are better in rain than the old ones were. We will see.

Thank you sir. Luckily, the two places I go have air at the front gate. (Northwest OHV & Barnwell)
Speaking of which, I need to get back out to one or the other and play with these new tires!

Very nice! It's a great tire so far for me. I went with 285/70 and the road noise is great compared to others.
