Decided to try something different this time around...I have had BFG ATs and MTs, General MTs, and Procomp Xterrains over the last 8 years.

Picked up a set of 285/75/16 Kelly Safari TSR's on sale a couple weeks ago. I have only driven a few hundred miles, and none offroad yet, but they are super quiet and feel/look solid.

I will post more info in Jan after I get a chance to wheel them..

Those look REALLY nice. I am about to buy me some of those after the first of the year. I found them for $140 apiece and can't wait to get them on. I did alot of research to find out more about them and I haven't seen anything negative on them. Glad to see they are super quiet.

Nashvillerunner, where did you find them for $140 each, I just called around and the one shop wanted like $198.00 each...

I then called a friend of mine that manages a tire shop and they price matched online tires price with the shipping cost so I am getting them around $145 apiece with free lifetime rotation and balance.

What I would do is print off what onlinetires.com has them for and call your local shops and see if they will price match them. Most places will price match with the shipping price so it will be a little more than $140 but way less than $198. Even if they cut $30 off the price that is $120 total just on tires.

WOW, not sure how he did that, When I just checked I found the following:

Subtotal: $560.72
Shipping & Handling: $153.38
Tax: $0.00

TOTAL: $714.10

So about $178 per tire.

You are overlooking local sales tax. I would only be saving about $10.00 per tire ($40 total). $178 +6% = $188.68 and I would have to pay for mounted, balanced, and road hazard...

I have about 1200 miles on them now...just as quiet as before. I took them in the dunes and some hardpacked dirt and they performed perfectly. I had them aired down to 12psi. I still need to get them in the rocks, but I am sure they will work great.

I got them on sale for $600 out the door with full roadhazard warranty
