New Slider Option

I just wanted to let everyone know that EVO (Off-Road Evolution) has come out with their sliders for sale. This is the same company that built the Backcountry 4runner for Four Wheeler Mag/SEMA. They look pretty solid and those welds make alessandra ambrosio look like a dog (kidding but you get the idea).

That is all.

Those cost a pretty penny $$. They are right down the street. Thinking about going down to check them out in person, but doubtful about taking the plunge for that amount.

Find out how much they want for that dual swing-arm bumper, too.

Same for me. I dropped them an email some time back and they said they would get back to me when they would have products out.....pity they didn't.

I ordered on 12 Nov, sent an email today and got a response back today. Mark said they are off to powdercoat on Monday and should ship in about 10 business days.

I ordered sliders from Shrockworks on Sept 20, 2010. Still have not received them.

I orderd my sliders on October 11 .. all I've received from Mark so far is apologies. I guess Shrockworks doesn't ship products out in the order that they received payment. Good to know ...:moping:

I really hope he is telling the truth then, and not just stringing me along.

There is a huge group purchase going on in the General Discussion forum and I think he promised them like +12 sets in 10 weeks. I don't see it happening unless they have their new shop and manufacturing process completed. But, last I heard that was all supposed to be done in January, so who knows.

At any rate, I liked the looks of the Shrockworks best and don't regret the purchase. Just don't like the waiting..

Ya, I ordered from them since I like the looks of the Shrockwork sliders and I don't mind waiting.... didn't think I would be waiting 4 months to get sliders.

That group buy will probably take well over a year to complete every order.

Shrockworks is notorious for building in batches. Harper7 waited like 4 months for his and he was the first to order them for a 5th Gen. While frustrating, building in batches has the advantage of keeping the price down and of consistency in the final product. It sucks for people on a deadline, but most people aren't.

To those folks who are still waiting... it's the squeaky wheel that gets greased.

These look awesome. Beefy as hell and are cornered in the front.
Once spring hits I'm going to get a pair. I'm suppose to get a "step" for the lady after the lift. Fine with me.

Resurrecting an old thread. But did they stop making these? The link is dead and I can't find them on the site. I love the design.

I know jaweinmann has them and has posted them over on the lifted thread <a href="http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/65893-post-your-lifted-pix-here-50.html#post967515">HERE</a>
