New Spark Plugs FTW!

So today I changed my spark plugs in my V8 and went from 15.4 MPG to 21.5 after resetting the on-board computer and driving a few miles. Talk about a huge increase in fuel savings! I replaced old NGK plugs with long-life (~100,000 mile life) Denso Iridium SK20R11's. After the swap the engine actually sounded stronger too, interestingly enough. I also recently pulled out my K&N air filter and returned to an OEM one and had the oil changed.

Honestly, I'm not sure the last time the plugs were changed (hopefully I'm not the first one to do it, as my dad said he never had it done when he had the 4R). Relatively simple and less than half the price ($80 for plugs off Amazon, $40 for tools) compared to the dealership doing it all ($250). Gotta love simple things like that that make a big difference!

:bravo:
