What up everyone, 2007 4runner Sr5 here. Just got my ride saturday, and just took delivery today due to leather install.

I will be lurking the boards for info on installing my Avic D2 nav unit, amp and sub. I got the non JBL edition 4runner. I have been seaching and saved a couple of links that may help, I am just unsure of where the speed sensor wire is. Help a brotha out, or point me in the right direction.

I hope to learn a lot about the 4runner here.

congrat!!!!! hope you will enjoy the 4R. it is mean to do it, but you know what, i never had chance to use that symbol, so please allow me to post one up ;): ;):
":worthless"

congrats...before you can do the radio, you need to do the mod at the bottom of each page.

best mod and its only like 5bucks

I will put my 4runner sticker on order. Just searching through the site, I already want to do a couple things... like aftermarket seat heaters, I want to cut some thin black rubber mat to fit a couple of the little storage spots (going to use the my tool chest liner, my own idea thank you very much), then the obvious stuff like tint,radio/nav (not sure about speakers yet but it'll probably happen.)

And so the mod bug has begun again. I just traded in my 350z for the 4runner and said I would not let this happen, but I love it

350z

yeah I miss the Z. I am getting married in a couple of months and the Z was like my last link to bacholar hood. I ended up getting a new v6 Sr5, surpirsingly the power isn't bad, it's just the handling, seat positioning, bling factor of a kitted out Z on rims that is different. Don'tget me wrong I was stoked to get the 4runner, we are too active to not have an SUV, i just felt like I was over the Z and nee to move on.

I had an 03 Z, Nismo kit, nismo wheels, full breather mods, system with a screen. I got bit with the mod bug hard with that car, but ultimately knew I wasn't going to track it, didn't want to take the next step to turbo, or surcharge (which I was heavily considering). There was just not enough space/comfort. I got the Z when I was 22, I am going to be 27 this year and while I still love the sport compact scene (I love wrenching) I needed a little practicality.

i wouldn't if i were you specially you are living down south, cops keep cracking import like crazy as i was watching news and words spread out so quick in other import forum...... not worth if they write you up an illegal mod/turbo/SC. the fat bill is gonna pay big time. i know a guy up here in nor.cal he has MKIV supra, got pulled over with some minor mod, basically we call them BPU supra (boost controller, intake, exhaust, downpipe, FMIC and some gauges), he got a fat bill in a total of $3000 citation!!! cops are being bitch in south cal lately, say no to force induction or major mod. good luck with ur Z

Yes Please help me spend my money, LOL. I kind of bought the 4runner because other than minor mods (tint, nav) and bike racks (I mountain bike), I didn't think I would have to spend much cashola on it.

Then I found the forum, now the bug is back. Hello my name is TheeBoy and I am a modaholic
