New starter still won't start.

The other day I couldn't start my 94 3.0 after work. Bump started it and got it home. I found that the two bolts holding the starter on were very loose. Tightened them back up, still just got a click coming from behind the glove box. I went and bought a new starter, swapped it out, and still just a click. All the other electrical functions of the truck work. Clock and radio dim out when trying to crank. Tried jump starting it, got nothing but that click. Battery is about two weeks old. Ground and power cables from battery are like three weeks old. I'm losing my mind. Help.

Your old starter was probably fine. First check the voltage on the battery, it should be higher than 12.5 with the truck off. If that's good, jump the positive battery post and solenoid connection on the starter with the key in the On position - if that starts the truck, you've got ignition/relay problems.

Yes. You've got the big wire coming straight from the battery, and the small wire coming from the ignition.
