new stereo, but unhappy...

So I decided to do it, scrap the stock cd player out of my 99 and upgrade the HU and speakers, well i love the new HU and rear speakers which i did myself, but the componenet fronts I knew would be over my head, well when I got the car back it was just rattle rattle rattle. I ended up taking the front panels off to find they just placed the component control box in the doors with no foam or anything. I found some foam laying around the house and wrapped them in that, then placed them back in the doors, but I still get the rattle!!! What should I do, I am kinda inexperienced and the polk speakers already sent me over a comfortable budget. thanks guys!

were the components installed at a shop? if so bing it back and complain it rattles. if you feel like tackling it yourself then id buy some sound-deadener (from local audio shop or future shop) stick that stuff on the insides of the doors to help stop the rattle and also keep the sound inside the vehicle. them you'll probably have to figure out where to mount the box. usually they're placed behind the door panel and screwed in place.

I had a huge rattle in the back speakers because I tried to fit 6 1/2" speakers in. Took it back to the installers and they fixed it. The installers should be able to fix the rattles if not have them put the old stuff back in and go somewhere else.
