Just installed my HID kit which I got for my bday...
I got the McCulloch 6000k kit from Xenonpros.com (I think $280 including shipping)...
The start up color is very purple/blue, after about a minute they reach full output and put a white output on the ground (very very small purple tint) with a pure purple color at the projector cutoff line. They look purple/blue (more purple than blue) from the front of the vehicle but not to the extent of "rice boy" super white bulbs...
The beam pattern is awesome with only a few minor hotspots in front of the car and I don't think I need to re-aim my headlights as the cutoff line is always at trunk level of cars in front of me.

Also, coming soon are Lamin-x yellow film for the fog lights and LED license plate lights.
