so since my fender/door thing was destroyed, I gots new stuffs

new thread since my last one was jacked pretty hard...

Brand new sport hood from Certifit = $56

Fender and stuffs for free for insurance.

total work taking place:

new drivers side fender + paint, repair/repaint drivers front and rear door, repaint rocker panel, new sport hood + insert + paint, repaint the under headlight fillers, and oh baby am I excited!

I am sure you will have it looking just as good as before if not better. I did notice you changed out the 16" early Tndra wheels for the Sequoia wheels. Looks sharp. Now the price on the Hood you mentioned is that a dealer discount or regular price from Certifit?

Thank you Mike, I appreciate your compliments.

Believe it or not, that is full price. Certifit says they don't sell many of those hoods because many people are deterred about the inserts.

Certifit does not make the inserts but they make a damn good hood, it's of very good build quality. The body shop and I were very impressed with it's fit.

Although, keep in mind I spent $175 on the scoop insert and parts related from Toyota. I reused the same insulator and misters, etc. Paint is also a going to be a bit but then again I am not paying full price on the paint portion.

With the new fender going on, the insurance company wanted me to paint match/blend the hood I had, but it was damaged, so I used this opportunity to upgrade. It's rather expensive so if you want to do it, I would strongly suggest waiting until you're going to have to mess with the hood anyway or if you find a good price.

Hood, drivers door, and drivers fender are in paint. So far the undersides are done of the hood and fender but the rest will be done during the week. It's coming along great. The jam of the front part of the drivers door is being done too. Later, the outsides of all three will be done.

I used to host the number 1 Tourettes guy video on Youtube before my account was deleted. It was 14:58 long (dont know how it wasnt deleted just because of that). My username was Corvettekorn and theres even a dude on youtube who took my video and sped it up... he gives me credit for his video in the credits.

People thought I was the guy who records it all lol.

I'm sad now.
