New suspension leaning to the left?

Finally bit the bullet and replaced my 2WD 01 SR5 Sports tired suspension with OEM Toyota coils and Bilstein HDs on all 4 corners and had her aligned. Man what a difference in ride. Soooo much better. Should have done it a long time ago. No more diving and wallowing around on a tired suspension. I always had a mild lean that favored the drivers side. I searched the forum but did not come up with a definitive answer on the lean. I am leaning/listing to the left between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. Tire pressure all equal. Truck sitting on level concrete, from what I can tell. Not a big deal? Should I worry about the lean? Other posts seemed to indicate this is a 4Runner characteristic. How would one go about correcting the slight lean? I am inclined to just not worry about it since ride quality is not being affected? Y'all have lots more knowledge than I so I appreciate any input. Thanks!

It's pretty standard. They have more weight on the driver's side because both the steering and fuel tank are on that side.

Never really noticed it in the 4 Runner but I know the Tacoma's get it real bad and is alled the Taco lean. It is mainly due to the fuel tank being on the drivers side and when full especially it is more noticable. Another thing to check is sway bar bushing and end links. If one is not connected then it can cause a lean as well.

Re: suspension lean

I've never noticed a lean in my truck, although I rarely ever fill the tank unless I'm travelling. I know that when you install the front springs, they are not the same(left and right). There is paint on them that tells which is right or left. The spring on the left has a stiffer rate (for driver and tank on the same side).

need to get you some OME trim packers. I just bought some. hope to get them installed very very soon. I HATE my lean!

Thanks for the advice. Will look into the OME trim packers. Glad to hear I am not the only one out there leaning!

Thanks man. We made sure the left and right went on the proper side. Took some researching and a call to Toyota to confirm.

I think I paid 23 with shipping!

Mine leans real bad and I've been wondering what I need to do to fix it as well. I have spacers up front, and I'm wondering if the stock springs are sagging.

how is the paint specifically marked for each side?
