New Swamp Donkey light bar!

Finally installed my 40" swamp donkey light bar today. Pictures don't do it justice. Anyone have any suggestions on how to run the wire up to the bar in the best way possible so i don't compromise the rain gutter seal? Otherwise it was an easy installation. Had to cut a chunk out of one of the slag factory mounts from downpour11 and re-powdercoat it but thats no biggie. I'm happy how it turned out. Now all that's left is to rig up some kind of anti-theft system.

I'll post a picture tomorrow but on the swamp donkey bar the wiring comes out of a pretty good sized nut looking thing (i guess to help protect from bending and what not). When i originally tried bolting the bar on your mounts this nut stuck out way too far to mount the brackets flush. I just cut a bite out of it to get around the nut.

Do you have any pictures of the brackets where they bolt to the body? I'm about to fab my own brackets, and I'm curious how they mount. I have a weatherstrip at the top, and I'm not sure if I pull it up and bolt them under, or what. Thanks for the info!

I don't have any pictures of how the brackets are mounted right now. I'll try and get some pics up for you when it stops raining so much here. I will tell you that you need to peel back the the weather strip and mount your brackets so that the bottom of them is flush with the rain gutter, and use self tappers or rivets to secure them. Thats's what i did anyways. I tried fabbing my own brackets but the measurements didn't come out right after i welded them up. I didn't feel like making another set so i just ordered them from downpour11..(slagfactory.com). They fit perfect the first time.

Hey man sorry for the delayed reply! But i'm highly satisfied with equality of the bar. No moisture issues at all, they're rock solid. Compared to light bars that some of my buddies have its unquestionably brighter, even more so than a rigid 40". The output lumens in the specs are even more than a rigid from my knowledge. IMO it's a no brainer to get one of their bars for the price they offer them at.

NO, I didn't have to use washers for anything. The lens itself for the led's in 40" but the total length of the housing is about 42" so it works perfectly.
