New T4R Guy on the block

HEY ALL!

Well, I've had my Gen. 4-2006 4Runner SR5 (2WD) for a while and generally haven't done anything on it except take good care of it and rack up the miles! Since I'm keepin this one until it croaks, I figured I might as well like it a little more.

You all have been there-done that with all of yours so I'll be pickin your brains a little and might ask a stupid question or two...first one below.

I have 16" stock wheels on my truck. I'd like to get the 17" 2010 FJ Cruiser wheels for it. I have the standard model, not the Sport. Anyone know if the offset will fit the calipers without spacers? Or should I stick with the 16" FJ's? I really would like the bigger wheels.

First of all, welcome!

As for your wheel question, it's best if you ask in one of the other categories, like 'performance' or 'pimp'. Yes, 'pimp'.

I had an '03 and put 18s on mine w/o any trouble.

You should be fine with those wheels... I'm pretty sure that the offset will set the FJ wheels about 1/4" further out than your stockers.
