Owned an '07 for 3 years. Good SUV, not bad 4wheeling, great for road trips (same mileage as my older, smaller, wimpier Subaru). But I wanted something better for off-road and mountain adventures.
I started looking for a "new" T4R (Late 3rd Gen) about a year ago. The information on this site about the known problems was great! I came across some "good deals" that turned into "no deals" after a test drive and inspection. Knowing what to look for is crucial!
I now own an '02 Sport Edition in excellent condition. No shakes, no sag and no pink milkshake! Can't wait to start the mods (lift, tires/wheels, lockers?, bumpers). Some year I'll be taking it from Colorado to Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay Alaska (and back home!)
