New T4R Ordered

Finally got around to ordering my new 2007 T4R SE V6 4WD Met Silv.

Ordered it fully loaded with Nav and the works, now all I need to do is add the mods.

Tires & Wheels
CAI
Exhaust
Lift & Suspension
Shrockworks Bumper & Sliders & Winch System
And etc.

Estimated delivery is 5 months from today.

Got a great deal going thru a friend who is auto broker.

I figured I have a 05 T4R SR5 V6 Met Silv 2WD which I use mainly for work, I need one I can take off road for a change.

Congrats! I just got mine this past Saturday. But 5 months?... Why not wait 3 more months for the '08 and oder it from another dealer (unless of course you ordered a '08 already). But 5 months in a long time...

Not exactly sure why 5 months but my friend said to get the price point he has commiited the dealer to see for the wait will be around that time.

Congratulations on the pending runner! Nothing wrong with having two in the garage! (ok, I'm bias) Just curious, you already have a 2WD V6, why not up the new one to 4WD V8 if you are special ordering it anyways?

Just an assumption but...
was the price point really really low? Cuz I'm thinking that once the 2008's are out (purported to be in August), the KBB of a brand new 2007 will drop by at least a couple thousand dollars within the next 5 month. At that time you might want to renegotiate for a fairer price after 5 months for an 07.
