new T4R. problems already...

Ok, so just got my first t4r. love it but ive driven 300+ miles and all the sudden, i started it up today on a cold morning and my check engine light, VSC Off, and Trac control plus the car and squigglley line light came on. Also the car seems to have a loss of power nd the muffler sounds throaty. What gives?

I have a 2005 sport model with a miliage that just fliped 100k.

tell me i dont have to put money into this truck already!

When the check engine light comes on, those other lights come on too. Shuts off the traction control goodies. Take it to autozone and have them scan it for free. That will usually point you in the right direction.

Timing Belt

Ok so the verdict is in, My timing Belt is on the fritz. Aparently it must of skipped a tooth and threw the whole motor out of wack. Just posting a reply to spread the info. Engine light came on, along with the VSC Off, Vsc Trac, and other lights. Car had a noticable loss of power sounded real funny. If this happens, be prepared to put about a grand in, if u cant fix it yourself. Timing belt, waterpump , and other components like a solenoid valve will all have to be replaced.
