Been lurking for the past two weeks gaining knowledge thanks to all of you . I went back a forth between a FJ "US" (Trail Team) model and a 4 Runner. I drove the FJ and loved it but the 4Runner sold me with greater utility, ride & build quality. Reminds me of my 1994 Landcrusier.
After looking in So Cal for what I wanted (No KDSS here) I broadened my search to Nor Cal, AZ and then finally Oregon.
Today I struck a deal on this 2011 TE from Coos Bay Toyota (Oregon). Lee the owner is a great man to deal with. Note: I'm in So. Cal and he really made it worth my while to go all the way to Oregon to buy this. It has KDSS but no NAV, just exactly what I wanted including the color.
I pick it up next week and can't wait. Lift, bumpers and winch to follow in the months to come. It will be used for its intended purpose in the Sierra's.
